The Faculty of Arts in collaboration with the Department of Theatre and Film Studies has held a performance to observe the one-week celebration of the late Mr. John Elolo Kwame Gharbin, a lecturer.
Theatre lovers on campus will get their first dose of laughter and an array of life lessons during the second semester of 2019/2020 academic year theatre season.
The Department of Music and Dance has received a donation of musical instruments and studio equipment valued at $100, 000 to enhance teaching, learning, research and outreach programmes at the Department.
The efforts of these students who were from level 200 to level 400 with Cumulative Grade Point Aggregate (CGPA) of 3.6 and above were acknowledged with presentation of certificates. In all, 57 students were presented with awards including 27 for level 200, 13 for level 300, and 17 for level 400.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. George K. T. Oduro, has stressed the need to encourage the study and speaking of French in Ghana to enhance the country’s international image. He noted that “It is unfortunate that Ghana is surrounded by Francophone countries, but most Ghanaians have not taken advantage of the French language”
