Admission Requirements

  1. Candidates must possess one of the following categories of qualifications and experience.
    1. Four (4) credits at the GCE Ordinary Level including English, Maths and Music.
    2. Four (4) credits at the SSCE including English, and Music
    3. Four (4) credits at the GCE/SSCE but without Music. Such candidates must pass an entrance examination and interview.
    4. Candidates with three (3) GCE/SSCE passes and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Theory Grade 5 or above.
    5. Certificate ‘A’/post secondary teachers with ABRSM Theory Grade 5 or above.
    6. Mature candidates with Keyboard, Vocal, and instrumental skills wishing to upgrade their musical knowledge. Such candidates must pass an entrance examination and interview.
    7. Choirmasters, Church Organists and Directors of music wishing to upgrade their level of proficiency. These candidates must pass an interview.
